I NEED YOU!!

 I NEED YOUR HELP!!!

I need some creative minds.

I am planning a day of teaching about what Abortion, Euthenasia, and stem cell research are and how to stand up against them.

This is going to be based on Arkansas Right to Life's Camp Joshua. If you do not know what this camp is, visit the blog titled "Prolife Camp Opportunity".

Camp Joshua is solely for youth and young adults. The day I am planning is for anyone who wants to learn more. It will be on a Saturday of January 2021. The exact date is undetermined. It will be held in Jubilee Church in Maumelle Arkansas.

THIS IS WHERE I NEED YOUR HELP!!

Since the day of learning is not a weekend camp, I need a new name for this one day of learning and practicing being pro-life. Got any ideas? The name Joshua relates to the story of Joshua and Jericho in the Bible and thus it may stay in the name. If not, the prolife club name, "Unheard" may be included into a name. If you have any other fun and creative ideas for naming this day of education, please comment below!!!

Thank you so much for your help!

Also, if you would be interested in joining me on this day of education that is currently being planned, comment your name and age (optional) in the comments below!

I am super excited about this!

A message from Focus on the Family

A message from Focus On The Family:

Post-Abortion emotional struggles are common among both women and men. There are a number of interrelated physical and psychological symptoms associated with Post-Abortion Syndrome.

Some of the more common include:

  • Feelings of guilt, anxiety, and remorse.
  • Avoidance behaviors.
  • Depression and loss of self-esteem.
  • A sense of helplessness.
  • A fear of failure.
Symptoms specific to post-abortal men:
  • Intense anger.
  • Cycles of depression.
  • Addictive behaviors.
  • Mistrust in women.
  • Difficulty with close relationships.
  • A tendency to become involved in promiscuity or pornography as a way of regaining sexual "power."
On the Focus On the Family Broadcast, Kurt Ramspott and Aaron LeCave discuss the often overlooked impact on abortion on men and offer hope and encouragement to those who wrestle with grief and guilt over a past abortion.
If you've been struggling with post-abortive symptoms, there's s good chance that the experience has had a stronger impact than you realized.
If this is your situation and you'd like to talk more about your concerns, you can email Focus On the Family for a free consultation. The counselors are all licensed therapists and would be glad to come alongside you in any way they can. (email@contact.fotf.com)
Above all, remember that God loves you and that forgiveness is available. There is no mistake so big, no guilt so profound, no sin so overwhelming that it can't be washed away through faith in Jesus Christ.

World Day against Trafficking

July 30th, 2020 was World Day against Trafficking (un.org).
Being pro-life is not just about standing up against abortion, but also against trafficking humans.
Destiny Rescue is an organization with the main goal of rescuing children from human trafficking.
You can visit the website at destinyrescue.org and sign up for updates and testimonies of those who have been rescued.
Destiny Rescue has sent an email with 6 things you can do to fight child sex trafficking:

1. Educate Yourself:
Read up and listen to experts on and veterans of the world of trafficking.

2. Engage Through a Lens of Humility:
Having conversations about Human trafficking provides opportunities to learn and grow as well as to break the silence and stigma that surrounds this tissue.

3. Stand Up and Stand Out:
The porn industry's obsession with young-looking girls, violence, and scenarios of abuse shapes viewers' minds and the world around us, creating a heightened demand for exactly what sex traffickers are offering.

4. Turn Awareness in Action:
The sex trafficking industry generates $11 million in profit every hour. Combating this giant takes a great deal of resources. That's why we always appreciate when people get creative and host fundraisers for our mission.

5. Give:
The more funds we receive, the more rescue missions and reintegration efforts we can carry out.

6. Rest:
Reading the success stories and reintegration stories on our blog can be quite helpful!
(Michelle Laughhunn, Communications Coordinator of Destiny Rescue)

LIFE

Thank you to all who stand for LIFE!! Please continue to stand up and speak out for life!
Please remember that we can stand for life politely. It is possible!
Being pro-life disrespectfully will not compel others to see life as priceless.
Pro-life means standing up for LIFE!
Please do not let fear take control of the purpose of life.
Think about this word: what does it mean to you?

LIFE

Remember, you are making history!

Students For Life Training

Students For Life training video is available in the link below.
From listening to the training video, this is a few things I learned.

"39.4% of abortions are committed on women ages 15-24."
"79% of Planned Parenthood are located within 5 miles of a college campus."
"60% millennial's want SOME limits on abortion."
" A main goal needs to end the funding of Planned Parenthood."

With these facts and advice for Students For Life, encouragement was provided also.
"You have the power to make a change! Fight for what is right! You can be a history maker!"

Can you find any examples of students standing up for what is right in history? If so, please post about the examples in the comment section below.

There are 5 pillars that can be followed to grow as a student for life! These five pillars include: Education, Impact, Policy, Response, and services. Education involves becoming educated yourself about the crisis of abortion and educating others. Impact is standing up for life by participating in pro-life events. You can listen to the training video to learn more!

If you take a chance to listen to the training video, please post anything that you learned from the video in the comment section below.
